1. After assembly, apply compressed air of 250 5 kPa (36 0.5 psi) to the fill plug hole and hold it for at least 30 seconds. After making sure that there is no air leak, add 0.06 0.005 liter (0.016 0.001 U.S. gal) of SAE 30 CD oil through plug hole.2. O-rings (2) of floating seal (3) and all surfaces in contact with them must be clean and dry at assembly. Apply a thin layer of oil on the contacting surfaces of the metal seals before installation.3. Put a thin coat of oil on seal (3).4. Install pin (4) with slit positioned as indicated in VIEW A-A.5. Install shaft (5) with "R" stamped end face backward and milled surface on angular bearing bolt hole side, as shown in VIEW B.End play: Minimum ... 0.1 mm (.004 in)Maximum ... 1.2 mm (.047 in)
