Important Information
To avoid personal injury when tests must be done in a closed area, activate the brakes and use blocks to prevent machine movement during the tests. Let only approved personnel on the machine. Keep other personnel off the machine and in view of the operator.
All tests and adjustments must be made with the oil in the hydraulic control system at normal temperature of operation. Be sure the linkage adjustments are correct before any tests are made.

To avoid personal injury, do not make any adjustments to the linkage with the engine running.
1. Remove cotter pins and pins from levers (23) and (25).
TRANSMISSION CONTROL LINKAGE
19. Transmission selector lever. 20. Transmission lock lever. 21. Rod. 22. Rod. 23. Lever.2. Move transmission selector lever (19) to the FORWARD side of the NEUTRAL opening of shift guide (26) as shown.3. Move lever (23) toward the front of the machine. The movement of lever (23) will move direction spool (6) to FORWARD position.
TRANSMISSION SELECTOR LEVER ON THE FORWARD SIDE OF THE NEUTRAL OPENING
19. Transmission selector lever. 26. Shift guide.4. Make adjustments, as necessary, to the length of rod (22) until pin can be installed.
