Place a suitable container under the filter in order to catch any oil that may leak when the filter is removed.
Remove the filter element.
Clean the filter base. All of the old seal must be removed.
Apply a thin coating of clean hydraulic oil to the seal of the new filter element.
Use your hand in order to Install the new filter. When the seal contacts the base, tighten the filter element for an additional three quarters of a turn.
Dispose of the spilled oil in a proper manner. Dispose of the old filter elements in a proper manner.
With the machine on level ground, check the hydraulic oil level in the sight gauge. Add required hydraulic oil. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil Level - Check" for further information.
Start the engine. Check for leaks.
Close the access door.
