Operation
The monitoring system displays the machine functions on the LCD screen of the monitoring system display. The monitoring system display receives information on the CAN data link from the following ECMs:

The monitoring system display will initiate a powerup sequence when an input from the key start switch is received. The powerup sequence will include a functional test of the system. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Self Test" in this manual for a description of this process.Power Down
The monitoring system display will begin the power down sequence when the key start switch is turned OFF. In this mode, the indicators must draw power from the switch-to-battery circuit that controls the activation of the indicators.Failure Modes
The following actions will occur for any failures:Hydraulic Oil Temperature Circuit - If the value is not known, the gauge will be set to the maximum value.Engine Coolant Temperature Circuit - If the value is not known, the gauge will be set to the maximum value.Engine Speed Circuit - If the actual engine RPM is not known, the gauge will be set to the minimum value.Fuel Level Circuit - If the value for the fuel level is not known, the gauge will be set to the minimum value.Engine Oil Pressure Circuit - If the engine oil pressure value is not known, the gauge will be set to the maximum value.
