Aftercooler Housing
START BY:a) remove instrument panelb) remove fuel filter case1. Drain the coolant from the cooling system. 2. Remove bolts (2) and move elbow (1) away from the aftercooler housing. 3. Remove tube (3) from the expansion tank and tube elbow. 4. Fasten tooling (A) and a hoist to aftercooler housing (4) as shown.5. Remove bolts (5) and aftercooler (4) from the cylinder head. The weight of the aftercooler housing is 43 kg (95 lb.).Install Aftercooler Housing
1. Make sure all gasket surfaces are clean and free of dirt. 2. Inspect seals (3) for wear or damage and make a replacement if necessary.3. Fasten tool (A) and a hoist to aftercooler housing (1) as shown.4. Install gaskets (2) and aftercooler housing (1) on the cylinder head. 5. Install tube (4) on the expansion tank and the elbow. 6. Install the gasket and connect elbow (5) to the aftercooler housing and install bolts (6).7. Fill the cooling system with coolant to the correct level.
