At operating temperature, the hydraulic oil tank is hot and under pressure. Hot oil can cause burns. To prevent possible personal injury, release the pressure in the hydraulic system before and hydraulic lines or components are disconnected or removed.
3. Release the pressure in the hydraulic system as follows:a. Shut off the engine.b. Move the control levers through their full travel strokes. This will relieve any pressure that may be present in the pilot system.c. Slowly loosen the air breather cap on the hydraulic oil tank to release the pressure.d. Tighten the air breather cap on the hydraulic oil tank.e. The pressure in the hydraulic system has now been released. Lines and components can now be removed. To release the pressure in the attachment cylinders, carefully loosen the two large plugs near the plugs at the top of the loader frame. When the oil from the loosened plugs stops draining, tighten the two large plugs.

The following steps are for the installation6. Lubricate all pin bores with 5P960 Multipurpose Grease before assembly.7. Lubricate sealing lip lightly with the lubricant being sealed.8. Use washers as required to maintain 0.5 0.5 mm (.02 .02 in) total gap between levers and tilt cylinder cap and between levers and lift arm.9.
