Install clip (12) around the hoses and install clip (12) to mounting hole (M) that is located on the crossmember for the fender. Use bolt (8) and washer (14) to install the clip.
Steam or hot coolant can cause severe burns.The engine oil cooler may retain coolant after the coolant has been drained.Before removing the plug from the engine oil cooler, allow the engine and the components to cool.

Remove plug (P) from the engine oil cooler. The engine oil cooler is located in the engine compartment on the left side of the machine.
Apply 5P-3413 Pipe Sealant to reducing bushing (10) and install bushing (10) into the engine oil cooler. Apply 5P-3413 Pipe Sealant to shutoff valve (3) and install shutoff valve (3) into bushing (10) .

Remove plug (Q) from the manifold on the water pump. The water pump is located on the front left corner of the engine.
Apply 5P-3413 Pipe Sealant to reducing bushing (11) and install bushing (11) into the manifold. Apply 5P-3413 Pipe Sealant to elbow (16) and install elbow (16) into bushing (11). Apply 5P-3413 Pipe Sealant to shutoff valve (3) and install shutoff valve (3) into elbow (16) .Note: Clearance for the installation of bushing (11), elbow (16), and shutoff valve (3) is very minimal. The mounting bolts for the hydraulic oil cooler may be removed in order to position the hydraulic oil cooler out of the way. This will ease installation of the hardware.

Route the top hose to shutoff valve (3) in the engine oil cooler and cut the top hose to the appropriate length.
Install the top hose to shutoff valve (3) with hose clamp (1) .

Stretch the bottom hose in order to reach shutoff valve (3) in the manifold on the water pump. Install the bottom hose to shutoff valve (3) with hose clamp (1) .

Install clip (17) around the hose that is going to the manifold on the water pump. Use the existing hardware (H) for the clip on the oil cooler lines to install clip (17) to the machine.

Install harness assembly (6) to the connector on heater (2) .
Route harness assembly (6) through the gap next to the battery box. Refer to illustration 13.

Open the door to the battery box and route harness assembly (6). Refer to illustration 14. Connect harness assembly (6) to connector (C) for the auxiliary circuit.Note: Connector (C) is designated as 197B GN. This connector has one black wire and one green wire.
Install clip (4) on the connector for harness assembly (6) and install clip (4) to the heater with existing bolt (K) from the side of the heater.
Refill the coolant. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, SENR7160, "Cooling System Coolant - Change" for the proper procedure.
