Remove muffler assembly (A), refer to Disassembly and Assembly, RENR8663, "Muffler - Remove and Install"Note: Make sure to disconnect the tube (C) for the dust ejector if your machine is equipped with a dust ejector.
Remove the 232-0354 Bracket As (1) and 315-4326 Bracket As (2) which support the muffler.

Outlets to cap
Release clamps (E) at both ends of the tube between turbocharger and ATAAC radiator as indicated on the graphics above.
Remove the bracket (F) fixing the tube to the shield, retain for later use.
Remove the tube (B) between turbocharger and ATAAC radiator & hump hose (G) at the turbocharger side.
Cap off the turbocharger outlet (H) as well as ATAAC radiator inlet (J) .Turbocharger Reindexation

Turbo reindexing to ATAAC
Release clamps (K) on turbocharger air inlet side.

Reindex turbocharger to ATAAC outlet 30 degrees downwards. Reindexing the turbocharger will avoid interference with the improved muffler which is larger.Installation of New Parts

Install new 363-7977 Bracket As (3) and 367-7443 Bracket As (4) on the machine in place of the 232-0354 Bracket As and 315-4326 Bracket As .

Verify if your machine is equipped with a dust ejector or a turbine precleaner.
If your machine has a turbine precleaner, you will need to install a plug.
If your machine is equipped with a dust ejector, you will need to connect the dust ejector hose (N) at muffler installation.
Remove the protective cap from the turbocharger exhaust tube to allow muffler (R) installation.Note: Use of a small hoist is required.
Install the new 360-2693 Muffler As (R). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, RENR8663, "Muffler - Remove and Install"
Tighten bolts for the muffler to specification 100 20 N m (74 14 lb ft).
After installation, tighten all bolts and connect exhaust tube (F), tighten the clamp to specifications 7.5 1 N m (66.4 9 lb in)

Clearance between hump hose and muffler
Remove the protective caps from turbocharger and ATAAC radiator. Install the new 351-8986 ATAAC Tube (B) with necessary clamps.
Ensure clearance between muffler and 325-9616 Hose (U), as well as correct positioning of the 208-7448 Clamps (T) .

Install the bracket (F) at the shield group, which was previously removed. Ensure correct clearance between shield and ATAAC tube.

Dynamic assembly torque for clamps (E) 7.5 1 N m (66.40 9 lb in)

Torque for the Clamp assembly (K) 13.5 1 N m (120 9 lb in)
