Make sure that the swing lock pin is in the LOCKED position.

Lift the knob in order to raise the left console.
Turn the engine start switch key to the OFF position in order to stop the engine. Remove the key.
Lock the door and access covers. Attach any vandalism protection.
If the cab has been removed tilt the operator's seat forward. Cover the cab platform with the appropriate protective covering.
Chock the wheels. Secure the machine with tie-downs. Use proper rated wire cable in order to secure the machine to the trailer or to the flatcar. Pass the cable through the following eyes.
Front eye on the lower frame
Rear eye on the lower frame
Rear eye on the upper frameSecurely fasten all parts that are loose or removed to the trailer or to the flatcar. If the machine is equipped with a clamshell, tie the hydraulic hoses to the fork in order to prevent damage to the hydraulic hoses.
