PROBLEM
The existing input neutral and neutral-to-ground bond can cause a current loop on certain UPSB130 Uninterruptible Power Supply UPS Batteries. If the existing input neutral and neutral-to-ground bond has not been removed at installation by the electrical contractor, it must be done immediately to avoid a current loop situation and incorrect operation of the UPS.

ACTION REQUIRED
1. Verify the service coordinator has scheduled a "planned power outage" with the customer to address this issue.
2. When onsite, obtain the customer's permission to remove the input power from the input/bypass auto-transformer.
3. Safely remove input power from the input/bypass auto-transformer using the standard shutdown procedure. Apply the proper "lock out tag out" and check for the absence of voltage!
4. Inspect the input/bypass auto-transformer for any abnormalities.
5. Remove the cable connection the neutral lug to the XOHO lug.
6. Remove the bond connecting the neutral lug to the ground lug.
7. Restore power to the input/bypass auto-transformer using the standard start-up procedure.
8. Measure the input/bypass auto-transformer's output for correct phase-to-ground voltages.
9. Measure the input/bypass auto-transfomer's output for correct phase-to-phase voltages.
