Left Side of Machine
(1) Conveyor motor
(2) Planetary assembly
(3) Conveyor drive chain
(4) Tension adjustment boltLeft conveyor motor (1) is located near the rear bulkhead on the left side of the machine. The right conveyor motor is located in the same relative position on the right side of the machine. The conveyor motors are identical. The side compartment door on either side of the machine provides access to the conveyor motors.Left conveyor motor (1) is a piston motor with a fixed displacement. The right and left conveyor motors have a displacement of 44 cc (2.7 in3) per revolution. The output shaft of each motor is splined to planetary assembly (2). The planetary assembly drives conveyor drive chain (3). The drive chain drives the conveyor. Tension adjustment bolt (4) is used to adjust chain tension.

(5) Left tension adjustment bolt
(6) Right tension adjustment bolt
(7) Left auger motor
(8) Left planetary assembly
(9) Right planetary assembly
(10) Right auger motorLeft auger motor (7) and right auger motor (10) are mounted to the rear of the machine. These motors are identical. The auger motors are piston motors with a fixed displacement. The auger motors have a displacement of 35 cc (2.1 in3) per revolution. The output shaft of left auger motor (7) is splined to left planetary assembly (8). The output shaft of right auger motor (10) is splined to right planetary assembly (9). The planetary assemblies drive a chain. The chain drives the augers. The auger drive chain is located inside the chain drive box. Left tension adjustment bolt (5) and right tension adjustment bolt (6) are used to adjust chain tension.

Material Feed Motors
(11) Cylinder block
(12) Piston
(13) Slipper pads
(14) Swashplate
(15) Output shaft
(16) Valve plateWhen the auger or conveyor system is operating, supply oil from the corresponding pump enters the motor. Supply oil is directed to the inlet port of valve plate (16). The valve plate directs oil into the piston chamber in cylinder block (11). Oil pressure forces pistons (12) to move out of the cylinder block. As the pistons are forced out of the cylinder block, slipper pads (13) slide along swashplate (14). In this case, cylinder block (11) and pistons (12) rotate. Since the cylinder block is splined to output shaft (15), the output shaft also rotates. As cylinder block (11) rotates, pistons (12) align with the outlet port in valve plate (16). Rotation of the cylinder block forces oil out of the piston chambers and into the low-pressure side of the hydrostatic loop. Low-pressure oil is returned to the inlet side of the hydraulic pump, completing the hydrostatic circuit.Note: The material feed motors do not have a flushing valve. Instead, some reverse circuit oil is diverted into the motor case drain. Flushing flow is approximately 3.8 L/min (1.0 US gpm).
