This new basic fuel transfer pump group includes a new outer lip type seal. This new lip type seal is made from a new material that helps the seal remain pliable at the pumps operating temperatures. The result is improved sealing and increased seal service life.
Location of the new 169-8617 Lip Type Seal (outer) in the new 169-8615 Basic Fuel Transfer Pump Group.Adaptable To: The new 169-8615 Basic Fuel Transfer Pump Group is a direct replacement for the former 1N-4478 Basic Fuel Transfer Pump Group in the 8N-6151 Fuel Transfer Pump Group on these engines. The former basic fuel transfer pump group is canceled. All of the components in the new and former basic fuel transfer pump groups are the same EXCEPT for the new outer lip type seal. This new 169-8617 Lip Type Seal (outer) is a direct replacement for the former 112-3596 Lip Type Seal (outer) in the former 1N-4478 Basic Fuel Transfer Pump Group. The former outer lip type seal is canceled.
