Install washer (35), spring (33), and washer (32) in cylinder block (28). Put the cylinder block in a suitable press. Install a suitable piece of square steel stock against washer (32). Compress spring (33) and use Tooling (A) to install retaining ring (34). Slowly release the spring compression.

Note: Position pin retainer (30) at the top of the cylinder block splines.
Install pins (31) and pin retainer (30) in the cylinder block.

Install retainer guide (29) on the cylinder block.

Install pistons (26) in slipper guide (27). Install the slipper guide and the pistons in the cylinder block (28) .

Use Tool (B) to install cylinder block assembly (25) in housing (2) .

Install swashplate (24) in the housing.

Install bearing (22) on shaft (21). Use Tooling (C) to install retaining ring (23) .

Install shaft (21) and the bearing in front cover (17). Use Tooling (A) to install retaining ring (20) .

Install dowels (19) in front cover (17). Apply Tooling (B) to journal bearings (18). Install journal bearings (18) on the front cover and dowels.

Position front cover (17) on the gasket and housing (2). Install bolts (16) .

Apply Tooling (D) on the inside diameter of lip seal (14). Install the seal in front cover (17) and retaining ring (15) .

Install O-ring seal (11) and servo stop (13) in servo cover (6). Position spring (9) and servo cover (6) on housing (2) and install bolts (4) .
Install O-ring seal (10) in servo cover (5). Position spring (8), stop (12), spring (7), and servo cover (5) on the housing. Install two longer bolts and install two original bolts (3). Remove the two longer bolts and install the two remaining original bolts.
