At operating temperature, the hydraulic oil tank is hot and under pressure. Hot oil can cause burns. Remove the fill cap on the hydraulic oil tank only when the engine is stopped, and the fill cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.
1. Release the pressure in the hydraulic system by slowly loosening the fill cap located on top of the hydraulic oil tank.2. Drain the hydraulic oil tank into a suitable container. The capacity of the hydraulic oil tank is 10 liters (2.6 U.S. gal). 3. Disconnect hose (1) and tee (2) from the top of hydraulic oil tank (5).4. Loosen the hose clamp and remove the hose from the bottom of hydraulic oil tank (5). Disconnect the tee fitting from the bottom of hydraulic oil tank (5).5. Remove four bolts (3), two clamps (4) and tank (5). For installation of the hydraulic oil filter, reverse the removal steps. After installing the hydraulic oil filter, fill the hydraulic oil tank to the correct level. see the Operation & Maintenance Manual for the correct filling procedures.
