Replace the filter every 1000 hours.Note: Inspect and clean all the filters more often in dusty conditions.

Loosen clamp (1) and remove filter cover (2) and filter element (3). The filter cover is in front of the front window of the cab above the front hood enclosure.
The filter element can be cleaned by using pressure air. Use a maximum air pressure of 205 kPa (30 psi). Direct the air from the clean side to the dirty side.
Look through the filter toward a bright light. Inspect the element for damage. Inspect the gaskets for damage. Replace damaged filters.
Install the filter element (3) into filter cover (2). Tighten clamp (1).Note: Use new o-ring seals when replacing the filter assembly.Note: Clean the filters more often in dusty conditions.
