Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI31201" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number,"96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

Some of the generator set radiator parts need to be updated with the correct paint specification on the products listed below. You will not be charged for the service performed.
Contact your local Caterpillar dealer immediately to schedule this service. The dealer will advise you of the time required to complete this service.
Please refer the dealer to their Service Letter dated 11Dec2006 when scheduling this service.

Rework Procedure
1) Verify the radiator group part number that is on the generator set package being reworked. The table below shows the affected radiator groups and its corresponding lines group.

2) Inspect the radiator parts that are listed below and verify the list of parts have the correct color paint. If any of the parts listed are either not painted or have the wrong color paint, these parts should be painted using the specification and paint part number provided in the list.
3) These parts should also be inspected for rust corrosion. If any of theses parts are lightly corroded due to rust, apply a rust removing agent prior to paint.
