G3616 (4CG) EnginesDescription of Change: Two new clamp assemblies and components have replaced two former retainer and retaining ring assemblies. Both new clamp assemblies provide a better grip on engine tubes by restricting movement in all directions. They also prevent tube-to-housing contact that may damage tubes and cause O-ring failure. Finally, they decrease the amount of vibration in the oil cooler lines and engine oil lines. Adaptable To: The new 122-1148 Clamp Assembly and component parts identified in Chart A replace the former 8N-3639 Retainer and 8N-3640 Retaining Ring used on the oil cooler lines for all of the above G3600 Engines. The new 126-4493 Clamp Assembly and component parts identified in Chart B replace the former 1W-4152 Retainer and 1W-4153 Retaining Ring used on the engine oil lines of the G3612 and G3616 Engines.
