Thoroughly clean the sealant from the mating faces of the parking brake and of the output transfer gear case.
Apply Tooling (C) to the mating surfaces of the parking brake and of output transfer gear case.

Attach Tooling (A), Tooling (B), and a suitable lifting device to parking brake (2). Use Tooling (A), Tooling (B) and the suitable lifting device in order to lift parking brake (2) into position. The weight of parking brake (2) is approximately 159 kg (350 lb). Engage the spline on the shaft of parking brake (2) with the spline of the output transfer gear case.
Install bolts (7) in order to secure parking brake (2) to the output transfer gear case. Tighten bolts (7) to a torque of 270 40 N m (200 30 lb ft).
Remove Tooling (A), Tooling (B), and the suitable lifting device. Tighten bolt (5) to a torque of 270 40 N m (200 30 lb ft).

Remove bolts (3) from plate (4).

Install bolts (3) into plate (4) in the original location.

Connect hose assembly (1) to parking brake (2).
Separate the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
