Enhanced Multi-Function
Parameter #12This feature will enhance the synchronous operation of the work tool and other machine implement movement by switching the pump supplying oil to the work tool from pump 2 to pump 1. This action will occur when the work tool is operated at the same time as a Boom UP, Stick OUT, or Swing function occurs. This feature is only available when the parameter for the pump supplying oil to the work to is set to "Combined Flow".For example, when the work tool is operated along with a Boom UP operation, the boom UP operation is sensed by the machine ECM. The machine ECM sends the signal to the proportional reducing valves for the attachment control valves. The pilot pressure to attachment control valve #1 for pump 2 oil is shut off. This spool centers and allows all of the oil from pump 2 be used for the Boom UP function. The supply oil for the work tool is provided by pump 1.This enhanced multiple operation of work tool and implement works the same for Stick OUT and Swing operations as well in the same manner.Oil Temperature Warning
Parameter #13Temperature to display a hydraulic oil warning can be set in the parameters for each work tool to be installed.Tool Program Display Enable Status Function
Parameter #14This function is used to read and program the status of the display to the work tool select menu. This function can be enabled or disabled. The default setting of this parameter is enabled.Hammer Indicator Enable Status Function
Parameter #15This function provides a 15 second indicator for a hammer operation. Once the hammer operation is started, the indicator will count down to 15 seconds. This function can be enabled or disabled. The default setting of this parameter is enabled. For supplemental information on the hammer indicator enable status function, refer to the following video.Note: A CWS login is required to access Caterpillar Channel1. Controllability Settings
This function makes adjustments to the output lever command compared to the actual lever input. The controllability setting parameters default value is 5. This parameter can be adjusted from 0 to 10 for each actuator movement. The setting corresponds with the actuator speed. For slower actuator speeds decrease the value of the setting and for faster actuator speeds increase the value of the setting.Refer to Systems Operation, "Combined Function" for additional information on the operation of this function. For supplemental information on the controllability settings, refer to the following video.Note: A CWS login is required to access Caterpillar Channel1.
