1. Raise the bulldozer blade and secure it in a safe position.
2. Check the tightening applied to each 5J-4473 Bolts installed on the cutting edges and end-bits.
3. Tighten the bolts to a specified torque of 475 +/- 60 N.m (350 +/- 45 lb ft).

The tightening specification on the bulldozer blade cutting edges and end-bits need to be checked and possibly corrected on the products listed below. Improperly tightened or loose bolts can lead to bolt breakage and/or premature cutting edges breakage. You will not be charged for the service performed.
Contact your local Cat dealer immediately to schedule this service. The dealer will advise you of the time required to complete this service.
If you are no longer the owner of this product(s), please contact your local Cat dealer so that our records can be updated.
Please refer the dealer to their Service Letter dated 05Feb2013 when scheduling this service.
