RETURN (override) position (C) Detent balls keep the ejector valve stem in RETURN position (B). The ejector control lever must be held in position (A). When the control lever is not held in this position, the spring for the ejector valve stem will move the valve stem back to position (B).

The pump oil flows around the valve stem and through common line (7). The oil flows through check valve (18) into the rod end of ejector cylinder (6). The pump oil in the rod end moves the piston and the rod that is connected to the ejector. If the control lever is not released, the pump oil pressure will increase, when the ejector is in the RETURN position. The pump oil is in passage (24) in the ejector valve stem. The pump oil pressure will increase in common oil line (7) and passage (24), when the ejector is completely in the RETURN position.Pump oil pressure of approximately 10350 700 kPa (1501 102 psi) in passage (24) will open valve (26). The oil flows into a chamber between retainers (22) and (23). The high pressure of the oil in the chamber will move retainer (22). The retainer will move the ejector valve stem. When the valve stem is moved, detent balls (25) and spring (27) will move the retainers. The movement of the retainers will make ejector valve stem (5) return to the HOLD position (C) .Ejector ForwardWhen ejector valve stem (5) is moved to the FORWARD position (D), the pump oil in main control valve (14)
