2. Put Tool (A) in position under fore boom cylinder (1) as shown. Adjust the height of Tool (A) so it fits between the fore boom cylinder and the frame of the machine.3. Remove pin assembly retaining bolt (3), the washer and light (4) from pin assembly (2).4. Remove pin assembly (2) that holds the rod end of the fore boom cylinder to the fore boom. Start the machine, and retract the fore boom cylinder out of the fore boom. Stop the engine. 5. Disconnect lubrication hose (5) from the rod of the fore boom cylinder.6. Remove shims (6) if so equipped. 7. Start the machine, and completely retract the fore boom cylinder. Reposition Tool (A) to support the fore boom cylinder. Stop the engine. 8. Install Tool (B) under stub boom (7) as shown.9. Release the pressure in the hydraulic system as follows:a. Place the engine start switch in the "ON" position without starting the engine.b. Move the control levers for the boom, stick, bucket and swing to all full stroke positions. This will release any pressure that might be present in the pilot system.c. Slowly move the travel pilot control pedal to "FORWARD" and "REVERSE" travel positions. This will release any pressure in the travel circuit.d. Slowly loosen and remove the pressure cap on the hydraulic tank to release the hydraulic pressure.e. Reinstall and tighten the pressure cap on the hydraulic tank.f. The pressure in the hydraulic system has been released and implement/travel lines and components can be removed. 10. For installation purpose, put identification marks on eight hose assemblies (9). Disconnect eight hose assemblies (9) from the fore boom.11. Disconnect lubrication hose assembly (11).12. Remove the socket head screw and clamp (8) from fore boom (10). 13. Fasten lifting slings and a hoist to the stick cylinder as shown.14. Remove pin assembly retaining bolt (13) and the washer from pin assembly (14). Remove pin assembly (14). Remove stick cylinder (12). the weight of the stick cylinder is 141 kg (310 lb). 15. Remove clamp (15) that holds lubrication hose assembly (5) to the bottom of the fore boom. 16. Disconnect lubrication hose assembly (16) from the rod end of boom cylinder (17). 17. Fasten a lifting sling and a hoist to the rod end of right hand boom cylinder (17) as shown. Put slight lifting tension on the boom cylinder.18. Remove three bolts (19), the washers and spacer (18) from pin (20).19. Drive pin (20) into the fore boom until the rod end of the right hand boom cylinder is free. Lower the right hand boom cylinder.20. Repeat Step 17 and Step 18 to disconnect the rod end of the left hand boom cylinder from the fore boom. 21. Reinstall pin assemblies (14) and (21) in the fore boom. Fasten lifting slings and a hoist to fore boom (10) as shown. Put slight lifting tension on the fire boom.22. Remove pin (20). The weight of pin (20) is 23 kg (50 lb). Remove fore boom
