Start By:a. remove turbochargerb. remove aftercooler 1. Loosen clamp (4). Disconnect hose (3).2. Disconnect fitting (5) at each end and remove tube (7).3. Remove two bolts (8), nuts and washers.4. Reposition temperature gauge (6) out of the way.5. Install Tool (A), chains and a suitable lifting device to exhaust manifold (2) as shown.6. Remove twenty-four bolts (1).7. Remove exhaust manifold (2) and the three gaskets. The following steps are for the installation of the exhaust manifold.8. Check the condition of the three gaskets used between the cylinder head assembly and the exhaust manifold. If the gaskets are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.9. Apply 5P3931 Anti-Seize Compound to the threads of bolts (1) that hold the exhaust manifold to the cylinder head assembly.10. Position the three gaskets and exhaust manifold (2) on the cylinder head assembly. Install mounting bolts (1), and tighten them evenly to a torque of 55 10 Nm (41 7 lb ft).End By:a. install aftercoolerb. install turbocharger
