Selection Shaft LocationThe speed selector spool can be manually moved through all possible positions when the scraper engine is off.
Put the 8H-8501 Open End Wrench on the selection shaft. Turn the selection shaft to the full counterclockwise position with the wrench. The scraper transmission is now in the REVERSE position.
From the REVERSE position, turn the wrench clockwise through all the detent positions of the selection shaft. There is approximately 10° of rotation between each detent of the cam.
