Stick cylinder lines (5) Stick lowering control valve (7) Pilot line (10) Drain line for pilot system (11) Drain line for pilot system (14) Relief valve (22) Supply line to rod end of stick cylinderStick Out Operation
Refer to Systems Operation, "Main Control Valve - Operation" for an explanation of the operation of the stick control valve. When the stick pilot control lever is moved to the STICK OUT position, solenoid valve (6) is energized. Pilot oil is drained from line (9) through solenoid valve (6) and line (2). Pilot oil pressure from line (19) shifts the spool in stick control valve (18) toward solenoid valve (6). Pump oil flows from line (8) through stick control valve (18) and to line (22). Pump oil from line (22) flows into the stick lowering control valve (5). The pump oil passes through check valve (13) and flows into the rod end of the stick cylinder (1) .The oil in the head end of the stick cylinder flows through line (23) and back to the hydraulic tank through stick control valve (18) and line (20) .When the stick pilot control lever is moved to the NEUTRAL position, the stick is held in the out position. Check valve (13) prevents the oil in the rod end of the stick cylinder from flowing out of the stick cylinder.Stick In Operation
When the stick pilot control lever is moved to the STICK IN position, solenoid valve (21) is energized. Pilot oil is drained from line (19) through solenoid valve (21) and line (2). Pilot oil pressure from line (9) shifts the spool in stick control valve (18) toward solenoid valve (21). Pump oil flows from line (8) through stick control valve (18) and to line (23). Pump oil from line (23) flows into the head end of the stick cylinder (1) .The oil in the rod end of the stick cylinder (1) flows into the stick lowering control valve (5). Solenoid valve (12) is energized when the STICK IN operation is
