Information:

Illustration 1. Location of components (typical example). The new components are adaptable to earlier machines. A 8F9836 Lug (7) will also be needed. The lug is welded to the side of the tank. See Illustrations 2-6 for the location of the lug.
Applying heat to a tank which has held flammable liquids, even when "empty" can result in the residual flammable liquid or vapor igniting with explosive force. This can result in injury or death. DO NOT weld or flame cut on any tank that has held flammable liquid without taking proper precautions.
The 6G7803 Vent Assembly (6) can have the dome rotate freely so the hose assembly can be pointed in the correct position. To break the dome free, place the vent assembly hex in a vice and rotate the dome.
