Start By:a. remove cab
At operating temperature, the hydraulic oil tank is hot and under pressure. Hot oil can cause burns. To prevent possible personal injury, release the pressure in the hydraulic system before any hydraulic lines or components are disconnected or removed.
Release the pressure in the hydraulic system as follows:a. Shut off the engine.b. Move the control levers through their full travel strokes. This will relieve any pressure that may be present in the pilot system.c. Slowly loosen the air breather cap on the hydraulic oil tank to release the pressure.d. Tighten the air breather cap on the hydraulic oil tank.e. The pressure in the hydraulic system has now been released. Lines and components can now be removed. Drain hydraulic oil from tank. 1. Disconnect tube assembly (3) and tube assembly (2).2. Attach hoist to tooling (A) as shown.3. Remove mounting bolts (1) and remove tank.4. Weight of the hydraulic tank 80 kg (175 lb). Fill hydraulic oil tank with oil to correct level. See the Operation And Maintenance Manual for the correct filling procedure. Install in the reverse order.End By:a. install cab
