Bucket Zero Adjustment
Perform the "Bucket Zero Adjustment" calibration daily or when one of the following conditions apply:
The "Bucket Zero Interval" has expired
The work tool is changed
A calibration alert is displayed on the monitor
A calibration of the "Boom Single Operation" and "Front Multi Operation" has been performed.Perform the steps for the Bucket Zero calibration.
Navigate to the "Bucket/Work Tool Setting" menu.
Select the work tool.
Select "Weighing Calibration".
Select "Bucket Zero" and follow the instructions on the monitor.

Log Failed Message Reason / Required Operation
Boom is too high Start the boom operation from a lower position.
Raise the boom more slowly.
Swing operation time is too short. Maintain a slower swing speed for a longer duration.
Bucket is not level. Maintain the bucket angle similar to a loading operation (carry position).
Boom operation is too slow. Calibration timeout.Retry the cycle from the initial position.
Raise the boom faster.
Raise the boom from a lower position. Simple calibration will adjust the system calibration to match a reference scale. Simple calibration can be performed on as few as 1 or as many as 15 trucks. The more trucks used, the better the calibration will be fine-tuned. The recommended number of trucks for most applications is 5.Note: The simple calibration update cannot be performed unless the operator presses the store button after each truck load. The simple calibration truck list is remained when the machine is keyed off.
A new simple calibration erases all prior simple calibrations.
Only the latest simple calibration on one or more trucks is used to fine-tune the scale system.
Once a simple calibration is started, additional trucks may be adjusted in the simple calibration until a new truck is stored.
A simple calibration will begin adjusting the next weight measurement, but will not affect any weights previously measured.
For best results, the system should be zeroed when requested through the display.Simple calibration adjustment method is
W = (WR - Z)*AWhere:W - Adjusted and Zeroed WeightWR - Raw WeightA - Adjustment Factor* Adjustment Factor = Σ(Last 15 Scale Weight) / Σ(Last 15 Raw Payload)Z - Zero Weight
To perform a Simple Calibration, record:The weight of the trucks at the scale house. The weight that is displayed by the scale system for the trucks.A recent tare weight of the trucks being used for the simple calibration.
Navigate to "Bucket/Work Tool Setting" and select "Simple Calibration" from the "Weighing Calibration" menu.
Select and input the scale weight for the appropriate truck number. Continue to input the scale weight if you have multiple data.Note: If 0 is input for the scale weight, the Weight Adjustment Rate default value becomes 100.00 %.
Select "OK" when finished to input all scale weight.
The bucket payload will be adjusted on the next bucket.Calibration alerts
Below are common calibration alerts that may be displayed on the monitor:
"ZERO ADJUSTMENT RECOMMENDED" - A set interval has expired or if a significant condition has changed. Select "OK" on the monitor to perform the calibration. Refer to "Operating Mode".
"WEIGH CALIBRATION RECOMMENDED" - A set interval has expired or if a significant condition has changed. Select "OK" on the monitor to perform the
