Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat® products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

Remove cylinder (1). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hydraulic Cylinder Remove and Install (Tilt-Cylinder)" for the correct procedure.

Remove bolts (2) and reposition bracket (3).
Repeat step 1 and step 2 to the other side of the Tilt-Rotator.

Remove the screws and reposition manifold (4)

Disconnect lubrication lines (5). Repeat step 5 to the other side of the Tilt-Rotator.

Disconnect hose assemblies and remove valve lube (6).

Attach suitable lifting device to remove frame (7). Refer to the Table 2 for the weight information of frame (7).

Use Tooling (A) to remove pin (8). Remove bolt (10), pin (7), and plug (9). Repeat step 8 to the other side of the Tilt Rotator. Remove frame (7).

B - Rubber Hammer 1
Install frame (7) in the reverse order of the removal.
Tighten bolts (10) to a torque of 120 N m (89 lb ft).
Lubricate ring bearings (12) using grease.
Use Tooling (B) to install pin (8).
