1. Engine oil pressure. 2. Engine water temperature. 3. Fuel pressure. 4. Ammeter.(1) Engine Oil Pressure
During normal operation, the indicator arrow will be in the white area when engine is at LOW IDLE. The pressure range for the white area is 10 to 20 psi (69 to 138 kPa). With the engine rpm at HIGH IDLE, the indicator will be in the green. The pressure range for the green area is 20 to 40 psi (138 to 276 kPa). For troubleshooting engine oil pressure, see the Testing and Adjusting in the ENGINE section.(2) Engine Water Temperature
During normal operation, the indicator arrow will be in the green area. The temperature range for the green area is 160 to 227° F. (71 to 108° C). For troubleshooting engine water temperature, see the Testing and Adjusting in the ENGINE section.(3) Fuel Pressure
During normal operation, the indicator arrow will be in the green area. The pressure range for the green area is 10 to 30 psi (70 to 205 kPa). For troubleshooting fuel pressure, see the Testing and Adjusting in the ENGINE section.(4) Ammeter
During normal operation, the indicator arrow will be in the green area. The charging rate for the green area is 0 to 30 amperes (0 to 60 amperes on machines with heavy duty alternators). For troubleshooting the charging circuit, see the Testing and Adjusting in the ENGINE section.

5. Hour meter. 6. Converter oil temperature (Power shift only).(5) Hour Meter
The hour meter is activated by the engine oil pressure switch. It is only in operation while engine is running and the disconnect switch is activated.(6) Torque Converter Oil Temperature Gauge
During normal operation, the indicator arrow will be in the green area. The temperature range for the green area is 150 to 270° F. (66 to 132° C.). For troubleshooting torque converter oil temperature, see the Testing and Adjusting in the POWER TRAIN section.Tachometer (No Illustration)
On Special Application Tractors, a tachometer is standard equipment. The tachometer is color coded. The indicator should be in the green area under normal operating conditions. If the indicator is in the red area to the left of the green, the engine is either in, or approaching a lugging condition and you must downshift. If the indicator is in the red to the right of the green, the engine is either in, or approaching an overspeed condition and you must upshift.
