START BY:a) remove starting motorb) remove flywheel1. Remove the bolts that hold the oil pan plate to the flywheel housing.2. Loosen the bolts that hold the oil pan plate to the cylinder block.3. Install the spacers between the cylinder block and the oil pan plate. 4. Install tooling (A) and a hoist on the flywheel housing. 5. Remove bolts (2). Remove the flywheel housing (1). Weight is 125 lb. (56 kg).Install Flywheel Housing
1. Make sure gasket (1) is in position.2. Use a hoist and tooling (A) to install the flywheel housing. See FLYWHEEL HOUSING TIGHTENING in SPECIFICATIONS, Form No. SENR2225 for the correct tightening sequence. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 75 10 lb.ft. (100 14 N m). 3. Remove the spacers and tighten bolts (2) that hold the oil pan plate to the cylinder block. Install bolts (3) that hold the oil pan plate to the flywheel housing.4. After the flywheel is installed, check the flywheel housing bore. See FLYWHEEL HOUSING BORE in SPECIFICATIONS.END BY:a) install flywheelb) install starting motor
