Personal injury can result from parts and/or covers under spring pressure.Spring force will be released when covers are removed.Be prepared to hold spring loaded covers as the bolts are loosened.

While you hold cover (1) in position, slowly remove two bolts (2) and the washers. Remove cover (1) and the gasket.

Remove spring (3) and plunger (4) from the engine oil cooler. Installation Procedure

Lightly lubricate plunger (4) and spring (3) with clean engine oil.
Install spring (3) and plunger (4) in the engine oil cooler.

Install a new gasket under cover (1). Install cover (1) and tighten bolts (2).
