However, the operator must observe the engine speed and the oil temperature of the BrakeSaver.For maximum effectiveness of the BrakeSaver, select the proper gearing in order to keep the engine rpm as close to 2300 rpm as possible without exceeding 2300 rpm. In this mode, the BrakeSaver will automatically be engaged when the clutch pedal is applied and the accelerator pedal is released. The BrakeSaver will automatically shut off when the clutch pedal is released or when the accelerator pedal is pressed. Control the stopping of the vehicle with proper downshifting and service brakes until repairs are made.
