Install the 284-1217 Bottom Guard Gp (If Equipped)
This Special Instruction contains the information that is needed in order to install the bottom guard group on the 797 and the 797B Off-Highway Truck with the C175-20 engine.

Attach a suitable lifting device to guard (1). Guard (1) weighs approximately 278 kg (615 lb).

Position guard (1) to the bottom of the torque converter. Secure guard (1) in place with seven bolts (2) and seven washers (3).

Install plate (6) to the bottom of guard (1). Secure plate (6) in position with two bolts (4) and two washers (5).
