The autonomous system uses two backup batteries to allow for limited autonomous control module (ACM) operation after power loss. The two backup batteries are located in the lower part of the autonomous cabinet. In the event of unplanned, abrupt power loss or when the key switch is turned off, the batteries provide enough time to allow the autonomous system to shut down properly.Power Converter Module

Two power converter modules are used to supply both switched and unswitched power to the 12 V fuse block. The two modules are located inside the autonomous cabinet and mounted near the fuse blocks. Each module receives power from the unswitched side of the 24 V fuse block and connect at G19 and G20Converter module 1 provides switched 12 V power for the radar key switch, IMU, PPS Buffer and the left and right hand #1 and #2 autonomous stop receivers.Converter module 2 provides unswitched 12 V power for the long range object detection radar sensors 2 through 8.PM400 Power Module

Power Module PM400 is used to provide conditioned power to the position computer system (PCS). The power module is located inside the autonomous cabinet and positioned near the fuse blocks.The power supply to the power module is from the switched 24 V fuse block at A10. The conditioned power output connects to the PCS at connector AX-C2 with battery + at pin 1 and ground - at pin 3.Relay Box
