3. Put hydraulic jack in position under the oil pan in alignment with the spacers. Remove bolts (2) that hold the engine front support to the frame. 4. Lift the engine off the engine front mount.5. Remove the bolts that hold the front support to the engine. Remove the front support (1). Weight of the support is 80 lb. (36.3 kg).6. Remove the bolts that hold the front cover to the engine. Remove the front cover (3).Install Front Cover
1. Install the front cover (1) and the bolts that hold it to the engine. 2. Install the engine front support (2) as shown. Weight of the support is 80 lb. (36.3 kg). Fasten the front support to the front cover.3. Lower the engine and front support to the frame of the truck. Install the bolts that hold the engine front support to the frame of the truck. Remove the hydraulic jacks from under the oil pan.4. Remove the spacers from between the oil pan and the engine block. Inspect the oil pan gasket. If the oil pan gasket was destroyed during removal of the front cover, make a replacement with a new gasket.5.
