General Restrictions
Only licensed drivers will operate forklifts.
Operators will never drive forklifts with ALFA and rolling stock attached faster than 8 km (5 miles) per hour on the flight line, and 5 km (3 miles) per hour within the aircraft circle of safety.

Forklift must be operated only in 1st gear (1) when using ALFA.
When maneuvering forklifts within the aircraft circle of safety, a spotter will be used to assist the driver in determining safe clearances.
The forks of parked forklifts will be lowered flat on the ground to prevent injury to personnel working or walking in the area.
On parked and unattended forklifts, the operating levers will be in neutral, the ignition switched off, and the parking brake set.
Maximum rated capacity when using a ball hitch is determined by the limit rating stamped onto the ball.
Only one ball may be installed on the ball hitch adapter plate when in use.
