Remove the existing failed 3658768/">365-8768 Harness and replace with a new harness (same part number). Refer to the attached Rework Procedure.
Note: Tape markings on the harness indicate clamping points.

Rework Procedure
1. Measure and confirm that first orange locator tape (AL) is centered at the 242 +/- 10mm (9.52754 +/- 0.4inch) mark from the back of 40 pin connector (DD) of the harness. Measure and confirm that second orange locator tape (BL) is centered at 479 +/- 10mm (18.85823 +/- 0.4inch) mark from the center of first locator tape (AL) (OR 721mm (28.4inch) from the back of 40 pin connector of the harness).
Note: Image1.1.1 shows the locator tape positions on the front harness with reference to 40 pin connector.

2. Confirm that the frame clamps across the machine hitch secure the harness on second locator tape (BL) on the front frame and first locator tape (AL) on the rear frame. The locator tapes should not be visible after the frame clamps are tightened down. The frame clamps should be centered on the locator tapes.
3. Measure and confirm that there is 30mm (1.181inch) minimum gap or 45mm (1.77inch) maximum gap (CC) between the hitch bore boss top surface on frame engine end and the harness. Refer to Image1.2.1 for details. This action will ensure that there is enough slack in the harness routing going across the machine hitch in order to protect the harness from excessive stretching as the machine articulates.
Note: Image1.2.1 shows the front and back clamp locations of the harness at the machine hitch area.
