SERIAL NUMBERS OF 992C LOADERS (49Z) NOT HAVING NEW ENGINE OIL COOLER AND PUMP BYPASS VALVE, PI7104 U-74 A-46.2 AU-65 C-67 E-43.2 optional Refer to the July 16, 1984 Service Letter on the above subject. On Page 2, cross out the word "up" after "49Z". Write the following serial numbers: 49Z1-49Z489, 491-504, 506-508, 510-515, 518, 519, 526 Also, on Page 2 under "Action Requested", write the following: Loaders reworked at factory (core and pump valve) have a "C" stamped on engine block next to serial number plate. As already stated on Page 3 of the Service Letter, dealers are to stamp on a "D" after rework, even if the new engine oil cooler core was not installed. If the new core has been installed, you can see the part number "4W6045" on a raised flat on the core casting.
