Sudden release of spring force can cause injury.To prevent the possibility of injury, follow the procedure to relieve the spring pressure.
Install spring seats (12) in spring (13).
Compress spring (13) while you install bolt (14) in stem (11).

Position control valve (7) on the relief valve.

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Note: Make sure that the spring is in the correct position when you install the valve body.
Install valve body (3).
Install nuts (2).
Install nut (1).
Tighten nut (1) to a torque of 46 5 N m (34 4 lb ft). Tighten nuts (2) to a torque of 19 2 N m (14 1 lb ft). End By:
Install the counterweight control valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Control Valve (Counterweight Circuit) - Install".
