2. Loosen nuts (3).3. Remove rod assembly (4) and boot (2).4. Push the spring-loaded cover (1) into the power cylinder body, and remove the retaining ring (5). Remove cover (1). 5. Remove the piston and valve assembly (7), retainer (8), and spring (9) from body.6. Remove the O-ring seal (6) from cover (2).7. Disassemble the piston and valve assembly as follows: a) Push in on connector (16), and remove the retaining ring (18).b) Remove connector (16) and spring (15).c) Remove the washers (17) and (11) and packing (14) and (12) from valve (13).d) Remove piston (10) from valve. Remove the O-ring seal from piston. 8. Remove retaining ring (22), ring (21), washer (20), and packing (19) from cylinder body.9. Remove the plug (26), washer (25), spring (24), and bypass valve (23) from body.Assemble Power Cylinder (140 Machine Standard 120 Machine Attachment)
1. Install the bypass valve (5), spring (6), washer, and plug (7) in cylinder body.2. Lubricate all packing and seals with clean SAE 10 oil.3. Install packing in cylinder body with lip facing inside of body. Install washer ring, and retaining ring in body.4. Assemble the piston and valve assembly as follows: a) Install the O-ring seal (12) on piston, and position the piston (4) on valve (1) with cupped side toward the connector (9).b) Install the packing (16) and (17) in the grooves in the valve with the lip edges toward the piston and backed up by washers (10) and (18).c) Install the spring (14) and connector (9) on valve.d) Push in on connector (9), and install the retaining ring (15).5. Install the O-ring seal (11) on cover (2). 6. Install the spring (13), retainer (19), piston and valve assembly and cover (2) in the power cylinder body.7. Push in on cover (2), and install retaining ring (3). 8. Install the boot (22) and rod assembly (23) on cylinder with vent hole in boot in downward position.9. Put the master cylinder (20) on power cylinder (21), and install the three mounting bolts.end by: a) install hydraulic brake master cylinder and power cylinder
