Remove the tow arm. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hydraulic Cylinder (Tow Point) - Remove and Install".

Remove bolts (2) and bracket (1) from the machine.

Raise the machine and install Tooling (A) under the machine, as shown. Install suitable blocks under belt (3) to support the belt.

Purge the track tension system. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Accumulator (Track Tension) - Test and Charge" to release the hydraulic oil pressure in the accumulator. Attach Tooling (C) to aid in releasing the track tension.

If necessary, apply Tooling (B) to aid in the removal of tire assembly (4) from belt (3). Remove bolts (5). Attach a suitable lifting device to tire assembly (4) and remove tire assembly (4). The weight of tire assembly (4) is approximately 51 kg (112 lb).

Remove nuts (7). Apply Tooling (B) to belt (3) and outer tire assembly (6) to aid in the removal of outer tire assembly (6) from belt (3).

Attach Tooling (D) and a suitable lifting device to outer tire assembly (6). Remove outer tire assembly (6) from belt (3). The weight of outer tire assembly (6) is approximately 90 kg (198 lb).

Use a suitable lift truck and remove the suitable blocks from belt (3). Use a suitable lift truck and remove belt (3) from the machine. The weight of belt (3) is approximately 276 kg (608 lb).Installation Procedure

Install belt (3) in the reverse order of removal.
Apply Tooling (B) to belt (3) and outer tire assembly (6).
Tighten nuts (7) to a torque of 450 N m (332 lb ft). Tighten nuts (7) again to a torque of 560 60 N m (413 44 lb ft)
Apply Tooling (B) to belt (3) and tire assembly (4).
Charge the track tension system. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Accumulator (Track Tension) - Test and Charge" to charge the hydraulic oil pressure in the accumulator.End By:
Install the tow arm. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hydraulic Cylinder (Tow Point) - Remove and Install".
