Ensure mating surfaces of Adapters (7A) and (7B) are free of debris. Use four equally spaced bolts (8) in each Adapter (7A) and (7B) during the seating of the adapters. Tighten all four bolts (8) to 180 N m (133 lb ft) , then loosen each bolt (8) 180° to allow for adjustment.
Insert Tooling (E) through the holes (X) in the special studs on the ends of the rim adapters. Adjust rim adapters gaps (Y) to be equal on each side and torque Tooling (E) to 35 N m (26 lb ft).Note: Measure gaps, indicated by Dimension (Y) in Illustration 16, at each end of the adapter to ensure parallel installation and rim fit-up.
Tighten the four bolts (8) to 180 N m (133 lb ft) and check gap. Repeat Steps 10 - 12 as needed to equalize gap.
Install remaining bolts (8) working from the center outward and torque 3100 350 N m (2287 260 lb ft).
Remove Tooling (E).

Only apply 5P-3931 Anti-Seize Compound (Loctite C5A), or a light coat of oil onto the wheel studs after the wheel has been fully seated to avoid contamination of the mating joint surface. Anti-seize may be preferred in corrosive environments to make nut removal easier when removing rims. No other anti-seize compound is to be used - only Loctite C5A.
Connect bracket (1).
Apply Tooling (F) or a light coat of oil onto four-wheel studs that are equally spaced and approximately 90 degrees apart.Note: Apply a light coat of oil to the faces of the washers.
Install four of nuts (2) and the washers that are equally spaced and approximately 90 degrees apart to keep tire and rim (3) in position on the wheel.
Apply Tooling (F) or a light coat of oil onto the remaining wheel studs.Note: Apply a light coat of oil to the faces of the washers.
