Parking brake release lever in the TOW position
This machine is equipped with a parking brake release lever that is actuated by hand. The parking brake release lever is located to the right of the operator near the heating and air conditioning controls. This system has priority over the parking brake and the speed override and brake control pedal. This system should only be used under the following circumstances:
Towing the machine
Emergency situation

Parking Brake Pump
The parking brake pump is located to the right of the operator and in front of the bucket controls. Cycle the lever for the parking brake pump manually in order to release the brakes after you rotate the parking brake release lever to the TOW position. Cycle the lever for the parking brake pump several times in order to ensure that the brakes are released. The machine is now free to roll.Note: If the machine does not move easily, continue to operate the parking brake pump until free movement is obtained.Brake Engagement

Parking brake release lever in the OPERATING position
This machine is equipped with a rotary valve to engage the brakes. The parking brake release lever for the rotary valve is located to the right of the operator near the heating and air conditioning controls. Rotate the parking brake release lever to the OPERATING position in order to engage the brakes while you tow the machine. The system is designed to avoid pressure buildups in the braking circuit by allowing pressure to bleed off. Since the brakes are spring applied, moving the lever to the OPERATING position will apply the parking brakes.
