The Caterpillar Monitoring System is an electronic monitoring system that continuously monitors machine systems. The Caterpillar Monitoring System is a flexible modular system that includes the following devices: a main display module, various switches and sensors, an action lamp and an action alarm.The main display module is the brain of the system. This module receives information from the switches, sensors, and other electronic controls on the machine via the CAT data link. The main display module processes all of the information. Action lamp (2), the action alarm, or display window (1) will show the outputs of the machine systems. The display components show the condition of the machine systems.
