(1) This part number complies with European requirements. Start By:
Remove cab.
Remove drive shaft.
Remove piston pump (Steering).
Remove piston pump (Implement).
Remove power train oil pump.
Remove torque converter outlet relief valve.

Remove bolts (2). Remove bracket (1). Repeat for other side.

Disconnect hose assembly (3). Remove hose assembly (4). Disconnect hose (5) and (6).

Remove all cable straps (7) securing harness assembly (8). Remove bolt (9). Disconnect harness assemblies (10) and position entire harness assembly (8) out of the way.

Install Tooling (B) into torque converter (11). Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to Tooling (B). The weight of torque converter (11) is approximately 227 kg (500 lb).

Remove nuts (12) and bolts (13).

Install Tooling (C) into threaded holes in torque converter (11) in order to separate torque converter (11) from transmission (14). Remove torque converter (11).

Remove bolt (15), retainer (16), and yoke (17) from torque converter (11). Remove sensor (18), and bolts (19) from torque converter (11).

Attach Tooling (D) and a suitable lifting device to torque converter housing (20).

Install Tooling (C) and tighten evenly to separate torque converter housing (20) from torque converter (11). Lift torque converter housing (20) from torque converter (11). The weight of torque converter housing (20) is approximately 154 kg (340 lb). Installation Procedure
Install torque converter (11) in the reverse order of removal.
