(1) Connectors
Disconnect the five connectors (1) and push the connectors into the cab.

Remove screws (4) and remove covers (2) and (3) .Note: Be careful not to break the tabs on the inside of the covers.

Remove cover (5) .

(8) Connectors at key switch panel (9) Connector for the seat heater
Remove cover (6) and all parts attached to the cover. While removing the cover, disconnect connectors (9). If the seat heater attachment is mounted, disconnect connector (8) as well.

Remove straps (10), (11), and (12) .

Remove screws (13), plate (14), and the 259-4877 Console Harness As .Note: When the new 373-8980 Console Harness As is used, the following parts are no longer required and should be discarded: 283-3074 Toggle Switch and 251-0602 Bracket .Installation Procedure
Prepare new 373-8980 Console Harness As for installation. Secure the harness with four straps. After securing the harness, cut all the surplus off the straps.

Secure the connectors to the wiring harness using two straps (1). Attach strap (2) .

(3) 3S-2093 Cable Strap (4) 3E-9375 Conduit
Wrap the wire with conduit (4) from the edge of a green tape toward the connector. Secure the wire with strap 3.
Install the harness into the same position as the harness that was removed. If the seat heater attachment is mounted, connect the connector of to the attachment.
Secure the harness with a 3S-2093 Cable Strap and two 7K-1181 Cable Strap in the same location that the straps were removed. After securing the harness, cut all the surplus from the straps.
Put five connectors on the new harness through the hole in the cab and out to the platform.
Connect the connectors at the key switch panel. Attach the tip of 163-6795 Cable Strap into the bracket and reinstall the 234-6602 Cover
Reinstall the six screws and the 234-6610 Cover
Reinstall the 234-6608 Cover and the 234-6609 Cover . Also, reinstall the two screws at the foot of the armrest.
Connect the five connectors at the platform.
