Installation Procedure
All components of the metering pump should be cleaned before you install the metering pump. During the installation, check the condition of all the O-ring seals that are used on the hydraulic lines. Replace damaged seals with new seals.

Install front section (11) of the metering pump to the original location in the console.
Connect five hose assemblies (12) to the original locations on rear section (10) of the metering pump .
Install rear section (10) of the metering pump onto the console.

Install bolts (9) that hold front section (11) and rear section (10) of the metering pump to the console.

Install hood (6) and install two bolts (5) to the console.
Install panel (8) and install two bolts (7) to the console.

Line up the mark on steering wheel (2) to the mark on the spline.
Install steering wheel (2) and install nut (4) that holds steering wheel (2) to the console. Tighten nut (4) to a torque of 48 7 N m (35 5 lb ft).

Install spring (3) to the original location in nut (4) .

Improper assembly of parts that are spring loaded can cause bodily injury.To prevent possible injury, follow the established assembly procedure and wear protective equipment.
Hold cover (1) firmly and install cover (1) onto steering wheel (2) .
