Torque converter oil temperature circuit
The components of the torque converter oil temperature circuit are the torque converter oil temperature sensor, the Engine Electronic Control Module (Engine ECM) and the Caterpillar Monitoring System ECM.

(4) Torque converter oil temperature alert indicator With the key start switch in the ON position, 24 volt power is supplied from the batteries via circuit breaker #10 to the Caterpillar Monitoring System ECM and via circuit breaker #3 and circuit breaker #11 to the Engine ECM. The Engine ECM supplies 8 volt power to the torque converter oil temperature sensor.Torque converter oil temperature sensor (1) sends a pulse width modulated (PWM) signal to Engine ECM (2). The Engine ECM sends a signal to Caterpillar Monitoring System ECM (3) via the CAT Data Link. Torque converter oil temperature alert indicator (4) will be on when the torque converter oil temperature is out of range.
