Attach Tooling (D) to lift cylinder (6) in order to secure lift cylinder (6) to the machine.

Disconnect hose assemblies (7).

Remove bolt (8) and the washer.

Attach Tooling (E) and a suitable lifting device in order to remove pin assembly (9).

Attach a suitable lifting device to lift cylinder (6). The weight of lift cylinder (6) is approximately 91 kg (200 lb). Remove Tooling (D). Use the suitable lifting device in order to remove lift cylinder (6) from the machine.

Attach Tooling (F) and a suitable lifting device in order to remove bearing (11) (not shown).

Use Tooling (G) in order to remove bearing (13) (not shown).

Remove hose assemblies (14) and tube assembly (15).
Repeat Steps 1 through 19 in order to remove the lift cylinder on the opposite side of the machine. Installation Procedure
Install lift cylinder (6) in the reverse order of removal.

Illustration 23 g02850836 (1) Lubricate the sealing lip with the lubricant that is being sealed. (2) Tighten the piston to a torque of 450 25 N m (330 18 lb ft). (3) Apply Tooling (B) to the threads of the head. Tighten the head to a torque of 600 130 N m (440 96 lb ft). (4) Tighten the screws to a torque of 23 3 N m (204 27 lb in).
